![]() Go to the file where your “grunge” texture photo is open and, in the top toolbar, click “Select” and then “All.” Then from the same toolbar click “Edit” and then “Copy.” Once you click back over to the previous file, you can click “Edit” and “Paste” to put your image into the layer mask. Right now, since it’s all white, 100% of your artwork is showing. Layer masks operate in only black and white, so white is the area of the artwork being shown and anything black that you add will be area that is subtracted. Now you are “inside” the layer mask and anything you add here will be subtracted from the image layer. You must have your artwork layer selected to add the layer mask. NOTE: A little confused?
